So you've just been told that you must avoid gluten to feel better. Perhaps you know all about gluten and how to go about avoiding it, or you may know nothing at all and are confused, annoyed and clueless about what to eat now.
The commercial food industry has jumped on the bandwagon so to speak and now produce everything you need to live a gluten free lifestyle, however, they do not seem to care that just by cutting out the gluten in their product doesn't make it HEALTHY for you to eat.
Let's start with the worst of the worst. CORN!!!!! You should not eat any food made with CORN which is a drastic example of the GMO experiment gone ballistic, (in my own opinion of course). Do not substitute a pasta made from CORN as an alternative to wheat pasta just because it has no gluten. Your health will be worse than when you weren't eating gluten free. Also, there are some real good alternatives out there now such as pasta made with Quinoa, or Black Bean, or Buckwheat etc.
