Gen Z's think their future on this planet is in jeopardy. Well you are not the first generation to be terrorized by CLIMATE ACTIVIST's UNNECCESARY HYSTERIA!!!!
Get a grip and quit terrorizing your children people!!!!!! This is what the Gen Xr's faced growing up.
During the 1970's, the media promoted global cooling alarmism with dire threats of a new ice age. Extreme weather events were hyped as signs of the coming apocalypse and man-made pollution was blamed as the cause. Environmental extremists called for everything from outlawing the internal combustion engine to communist style population controls.

Earth Warmed 0.6°C From 1880-1940 And Cooled -0.3°C From 1940-1970. Now It’s 0.1°C And -0.05°C.
And before that, this is what the babyboomers faced growing up!!!
Baby Boom Brings Poverty: A Personal Account of Life’s Challenges in the 1950’s and 1960’s
“Poverty in the 1960’s is invisible and it is new, and both these factors make it more tenacious,” Michael Harrington proclaimed in his groundbreaking study, The Other America (1962), “It is more isolated and politically powerless than ever before.” [1] To most individuals, the baby boom evokes an age full of growth and prosperity. Unfortunately though, that was not always the case. There were people born and raised in the baby boom who did not find a prosperous nation. Living conditions were horrible for the poor and little was being done to help change it. This was the case for Ann Marie Harpel, a child of the baby boom era who was born in 1948, along with her four other sisters. She recalls the difficulties of her life growing up in a time. Her story illustrates a darker side of the baby boom era. It shows that post-war American life also had extensive poverty.

Growing up in the 50's and 60's
And here is the actual childhood that the babyboomers parents lived through!!!!
Millions of Canadians were left unemployed, hungry and often homeless. The decade became known as the Dirty Thirties due to a crippling drought in the Prairies, as well as Canada’s dependence on raw material and farm exports. Widespread losses of jobs and savings transformed the country. See more
So the next time you say poor me I have no future, the earth is warming etc. etc. Think again. You should be so lucky to live virtually in the lap of luxury compared to previous generations. And the earth is still here. Still providing, the weather (climate) always changing, sometimes for the worse and sometimes (like now) for the better!!
Gen Z'ers enjoying a break during classes. Where is the hardship? Oh yes, my phone needs charging, oops, that uses ELICTRICITY, which is generated by COAL, which you think should be ELIMINATED???? Guess what the cleanest energy on the planet is??? HUMAN ENERGY - HUMANS WORKING and NOT SITTING AROUND DOING NOTHING........... but
using the energy grid that took generations of blood sweat and tears (clean energy, human exertion and ambition) to build so you can CHARGE YOUR PHONE/DEVICE AND SIT AROUND AND COMPLAIN ABOUT USING COAL AND OIL that is used to PRODUCE the ELECTRICITY that you all use FOR YOUR LIFESTYLE!!! That you only enjoy because of the mountains and mountains of WORK done by the previous generations.
definition of clean energy:
"HUMANS WORKING, USING THEIR OWN ENERGY TO CREATE AND BUILD THE FUTURE WHILE SUSTAINING THE PRESENT!!!"
WAKE UP YOU PRIVILAGED #@#$!!!!
Greta on her yacht. What hardships we (the previous generations) have caused her to suffer. Her having to fly all around the world to tell us all we must reduce C02 emmisions to stop global warming.
Hypocrisy at it's finest just two examples
British Royal couple Prince Harry and Princess Meghan Markle triggered widespread outrage recently after lecturing the world about climate change while flying around the world in private jets.
"With nearly 7.7 billion people inhabiting this Earth, every choice, every footprint, every action makes a difference," the Duke of Sussex said on Instagram a few days before jetting off with the Duchess to Ibiza, Spain and then to Nice, France.
BBC calculates that those two flights alone produced six times more emissions than the average Briton does each year and over 100 times more than the average resident of the African nation of Lesotho.
